ABOUT US
JOHN BURNSIDE
With his extensive experience in the options markets and time as the business conduct chairman of the CBOE, Mr. Burnside created the basis of the Freeboard Capital Income investment strategy to create returns while managing risk.
Mr. Burnside joined Freeboard Capital in 2012. He has over 25 years of experience in derivatives markets. He served as DPM and market maker at the CBOE and was Conduct Chairman for the CBOE during the 9/11 crisis. Mr. Burnside is a graduate of Indiana University.
ROB TRELEVEN
In January 2012, Freeboard Capital opened the first account and Mr. Treleven began developing the algorithms used for investment selection, risk calculations and portfolio management. With each new investment, trading criteria continues to be refined.
Mr. Treleven is the managing member of Freeboard Capital, LLC, established in 2009. Mr. Treleven has over 25 years of investment banking experience with significant experience in structured finance, fixed income and asset-backed capital markets. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois.
